Source: Tastes Better From Scratch Prep Time: 10 min | Cook Time: 15–18 min Servings: 4–6 | Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 2–3 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (~2 lbs), cut into thin filets
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil (see source for exact amount)
  • Garlic, minced (see source for exact amount)
  • Breadcrumbs (see source for exact amount)
  • Parmesan, grated (see source for exact amount)
  • Garlic powder (see source for exact amount)
  • Italian seasoning (see source for exact amount)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven — Preheat to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prep chicken — Cut chicken breasts into thin filets. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Set up dredging station — In one shallow bowl, combine olive oil and garlic. In a second shallow dish, mix together breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Coat chicken — Dip each piece in the olive oil mixture, then press into the breadcrumb mixture on both sides. Transfer to the baking sheet.
  5. Bake — Bake for 8 minutes. Flip and bake an additional 5–10 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and reaches 165°F internally.
